Responsibilities:

• Executes electricity market transactions to ensure for the optimal positioning of the portfolio
• Monitors European electricity markets and responds immediately to changes in supply, demand and prices
• Analyzes real‑time forecasts of Renewable Energy Sources (RES) production and energy demand to support trading decisions
• Collaborates with the market analysis team to integrate data and enhance decision‑making accuracy
• Participates in shaping trading strategies based on data analyses and market trends
• Undertakes the role of dispatcher for Renewable Energy Sources (RES) plants when immediate intervention is required due to market conditions (e.g., negative prices, system constraints)
• Oversees the availability of Renewable Energy Sources (RES) production plants and communicates with Producers and System Operators (ADMIE, HEDNO)

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from a University in Sciences
• Master's degree related to Energy will be considered an additional qualification
• At least two (2) years of relevant experience as an Energy Portfolio Trader
• Understanding of the operation of the European electricity markets (DAM, IDM, Balancing)
• Certification as an Energy Trader
• Knowledge of Python and/or Power BI will be considered an additional qualification
• Knowledge of data management, visualization and analysis tools will be considered an additional qualification
• Good knowledge of the English language
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Internet
• Availability in case of emergency (upon phone contact)
• Availability in flexible working hours
