Position Overview:
The University of Nicosia invites applications for the role of Executive Assistant to the President, based at the UNIC Athens Campus. The successful candidate will provide high-level administrative and executive support to the President and the Senior Management team.
The role supports the day-to-day coordination of executive activities, governance processes, and administrative operations, working closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and monitor the daily obligations, priorities, and schedule of the President and the Senior Management Team.
- Manage calendars, appointments, meetings, and conferences, ensuring accurate planning and coordination.
- Participate in Governing Board and Coordinating Body meetings, take notes, and prepare minutes and follow-up actions when required.
- Track tasks, deadlines, and pending matters, and prepare reports according to the instructions of the President of UNIC Athens.
- Handle incoming and outgoing communication, including emails, phone calls, letters, and packages, with proper prioritization.
- Act as a key point of contact between senior management, internal teams, and external partners.
- Maintain and manage electronic and hard-copy filing systems, ensuring records are well organized, secure, and easily accessible.
- Support and monitor ad-hoc projects assigned by the management team.
- Coordinate travel arrangements for the President and senior executives, including scheduling and logistics.
- Support the organization of internal and external meetings, executive events, and official gatherings.
- Handle confidential documents and sensitive information with the highest level of discretion.
- Conduct research and prepare presentations, reports, and briefing materials as assigned.
Academic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Public Administration or a related field.
- A Master’s Degree will be considered an advantage
Job-specific skills:
- Proven experience in executive secretarial, administrative, or operations support roles.
- Excellent command of English and Greek, both written and verbal.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and digital communication tools.
