The company offers the opportunity to those who wish to express interest in the position of “Senior Contracts Controller and Data Analyst | Ανώτερος/η Ελεγκτής/τρια Συμβάσεων και Αναλυτής/τρια Δεδομένων”, for its premises in Halkidiki. The position will report to the Underground Mining Manager of the Underground Mining Department, based in Skouries.
Main Responsibilities:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret mining and commercial datasets.
- Develop dashboards and reports covering contract performance, costs, KPIs, and risk exposure.
- Develop dashboards and automated reports to track KPIs against budget, forecast, and life-of-mine plans.
- Identify trends, bottlenecks, and performance deviations, providing actionable insights to Operations and Management.
- Integrate mining KPIs with contract and cost data to assess contractor performance and commercial exposure.
- Support short-term planning, forecasting, and continuous improvement initiatives through data-driven analysis.
- Provide guidance and monitoring to contractors for report generation through the Power BI platform.
- Perform variance, reconciliation, and performance analysis.
- Ιdentify contractual, financial, and operational risks and recommend mitigation actions.
- Improve contract control processes, reporting standards, and data workflows.
- Develop and maintain the Budget File System, consolidating and comparing information across budgets and projections.
- Coordinates with the internal areas of Underground mining the preparation of the budget.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly expense summaries.
- Manage the commercial aspects of all underground contractors.
- Verify the correct allocation of expenses, implement corrective actions, address allocation issues through defined procedures, train personnel, and follow up on implementation.
- Coordinate with suppliers and Accounting to request information, manage monthly provisions, track outstanding payments to suppliers and contractors (including Service Orders, Direct Charges, and Valuations), and request and monitor reversals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Civil engineering or related field.
- Experience of 2-3 years in cost control within the mining and/or construction industry.
- Proficient in using design software such as AutoCAD and Deswik.
- Experience with computer-based maintenance systems (e.g., SAP).
- Time management and ability to prioritize work independently.
- Contract administration experience.
- Knowledge of Change Management and Continuous Improvement methods and technologies is desirable.
- Contribution to departmental cost and budget control goals.
- Commitment to safety, health, and environmental standards.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in Greek and English.
- Driver's license (B Category).
- Ability to work under pressure.
