Responsibilities: 

• Develop and maintain backend applications and RESTful APIs using .NET and C#. 

• Implement new features, enhancements and integrations based on business requirements. 

• Write clean, secure and maintainable code using modern design principles. 

• Ensure API performance, scalability, and reliability. 

• Create and maintain technical documentation for all API-related work. 

• Integrate APIs with internal systems, client platforms and third-party services. 

• Contribute to backend architecture discussions and decisions. 

• Help define scalable API structures and service boundaries. 

• Support refactoring efforts to improve maintainability and align with clean architecture. 

• Work with MS SQL Server design schemas, write optimized queries and perform data-related troubleshooting. 

• Build integrations with third-party APIs, webhooks and services. 

• Work with Azure Cloud components such as App Services, Functions, Storage, and CI/CD pipelines. 

• (Bonus) Support or build financial/trading system integrations using the FIX Protocol. 

• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback. 

• Troubleshoot production and development issues. 

• Work closely with other developers and contribute to a positive team culture. 

 

Requirements: 

  Technical Skills 

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with C# and .NET. 

• Strong experience with REST API development and backend services. 

• Solid understanding of: 

• REST standards 

• DTOs and mapping 

• Middleware 

• API versioning 

• Error handling 

• Secure development practices (JWT, OAuth2) 

• Experience with MS SQL Server and Entity Framework Core. 

• Hands-on experience with Redis (caching patterns, distributed caching, session stores). 

• Familiarity with Azure Cloud services (App Services, Functions, DevOps pipelines). 

• Experience with Git-based workflows and CI/CD. 

• Basic understanding of Docker for containerized development. 

 

Soft Skills 

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. 

• Good communication skills and team collaboration mindset. 

• Ability to take ownership of tasks and work independently. 

• Eagerness to learn, upskill and grow professionally. 

 

Nice-to-Have 

• Knowledge of the FIX (Financial Information Exchange) Protocol. 

• Experience with microservices architecture. 

• Background in fintech, trading systems or enterprise SaaS platforms.
