MAKRIS Athens by Domes

Domes Resorts lands in Athens, introducing our first degustation restaurant in Thissio. Our talented, Michelin Starred Chef Patron Petros Dimas, alongside with a team of culinary experts will create the ultimate fine dining experience based on Greek creative cuisine.

We are currently hiring for Athens, looking for a highly energetic and passionate Waiter B, joining our team at MAKRIS Athens by Domes.

Waiter B'

The Role:

As a Waiter/Waitress B’ at Domes Resorts, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced dining environment. You will be serving food and beverages, ensuring a positive dining experience for Makris’ guests.

Some of the responsibilities:

Guest Services

• Greet and welcome guests promptly in a warm and friendly manner.
• Thank and give fond farewell to guests conveying anticipation for their next visit.
• Assist the Head Waiter/Waitress or the Waiter/Waitress A’ in taking and delivering food and beverage orders.
• Ensure prompt and courteous service throughout the meal, attending to guests' needs and preferences.

Operational Services

• Ensure tables are set and cleared promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas.
• Assist in maintaining stock levels of supplies and equipment.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
• Assist the Head Waiter/Waitress or the Waiter/Waitress A’ in providing and maintaining the service standards using friendly, courteous, and professional service.
• Removing dishes, glassware and cutlery from tables.

Collaboration

• Coordinate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.

Useful to have:

• High School or vocational training in a similar field is preferred.
• Previous experience in a luxury hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations will be considered as a plus.
• Conversational English level and familiarity with POS system is a plus as well.

• Ability to build relationships, internally and externally, within their department and between their department and the rest of the team.
• Proactive way of managing and organizing with an eye to detail.
