Role Overview

The Kitchen Steward is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organization across all kitchen and staff dining areas. The role supports kitchen operations by ensuring that all equipment, utensils, and workspaces are kept clean and well-organized, contributing to a safe and efficient working environment.

Ο Λαντζέρης είναι υπεύθυνος για τη διατήρηση των υψηλότερων προτύπων καθαριότητας, υγιεινής και οργάνωσης σε όλους τους χώρους της κουζίνας και των χώρων εστίασης προσωπικού. Ο ρόλος υποστηρίζει τη συνολική λειτουργία της κουζίνας, διασφαλίζοντας ότι ο εξοπλισμός, τα σκεύη και οι χώροι εργασίας παραμένουν καθαροί, οργανωμένοι και ασφαλείς.

Key Accountabilities

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen, back-of-house, and staff canteen areas.
• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment in accordance with hygiene standards.
• Ensure workstations, storage areas, and equipment are clean, organized, and properly maintained.
• Assist with inventory control by restocking cleaning supplies and kitchen equipment as required.
• Support the kitchen team with basic cleaning tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to maintain efficient workflow and operational continuity.
• Comply with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.

Κύριες Αρμοδιότητες

• Διασφάλιση της καθαριότητας και της υγιεινής σε όλους τους χώρους κουζίνας, back-of-house και εστιατορίου προσωπικού.
• Πλύσιμο και απολύμανση σκευών, εργαλείων, μαγειρικού εξοπλισμού και μηχανημάτων σύμφωνα με τα πρότυπα υγιεινής.
• Διατήρηση των σταθμών εργασίας, των αποθηκευτικών χώρων και του εξοπλισμού καθαρών, οργανωμένων και σε άριστη κατάσταση.
• Υποστήριξη της διαχείρισης αποθεμάτων μέσω αναπλήρωσης καθαριστικών υλικών και βασικού εξοπλισμού κουζίνας.
• Παροχή υποστήριξης στην ομάδα της κουζίνας με βασικές εργασίες καθαρισμού για την ομαλή καθημερινή λειτουργία.
• Συνεργασία με τα μέλη της ομάδας για τη διασφάλιση αποτελεσματικής ροής εργασιών.
• Τήρηση όλων των κανονισμών υγείας, ασφάλειας και υγιεινής.

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Steward or in a similar role, preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and hygiene.

Απαιτούμενα Προσόντα

• Προϋπηρεσία ως Λαντζέρης ή σε αντίστοιχη θέση, ιδανικά σε ξενοδοχειακό ή επισιτιστικό περιβάλλον.
• Ικανότητα εργασίας υπό πίεση σε γρήγορους ρυθμούς.
• Ιδιαίτερη προσοχή στη λεπτομέρεια και στην καθαριότητα.
