Role Overview

The Lounge Host / Hostess is responsible for creating a warm and welcoming first impression for all guests, managing reservations efficiently, and ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience from arrival to departure. The role upholds the highest standards of service, professionalism, and guest care.

Key Accountabilities

  • Welcome and assist arriving and departing guests at the lounge area with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Greet, escort, and seat guests warmly; bid farewell ensuring guest satisfaction has been achieved.
  • Provide attentive, respectful, and generous service to guests and colleagues at all times.
  • Offer accurate information regarding ferry/ship schedules, boarding times, and port procedures.
  • Maintain the lounge area in a clean, comfortable, and well-equipped condition at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with ferry operators and transport services to remain updated on any delays or changes.
  • Assist with luggage handling when required, ensuring a smooth guest experience.


Requirements

  • Previous experience in a luxury lounge, high-end hotel, or premium guest services environment is preferred.
  • Excellent command of English; knowledge of additional languages is considered an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
