Role Overview:

The Spa Manager is responsible for the overall management, strategic direction, and financial performance of the spa operation, ensuring an exceptional, holistic wellness experience aligned with the brand’s luxury standards. The role combines leadership, operational excellence, and commercial acumen, overseeing the spa team, guest experience, and profitability while continuously elevating service quality.

Key accountabilities:

• Lead and manage the overall spa operation, ensuring seamless daily performance and long-term strategic development.
• Inspire the spa team, fostering a high-performance, service-oriented culture aligned with the brand’s values.
• Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by overseeing service delivery, handling guest feedback, and continuously enhancing the wellness experience.
• Develop, implement, and monitor spa SOPs, treatment protocols, and service standards, ensuring consistency and excellence.
• Drive spa revenue and profitability through effective pricing, treatment mix optimization, upselling strategies, and retail performance.
• Oversee scheduling, workforce planning, and productivity to maximize efficiency and service quality.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, wellness brands, and external partners, ensuring product quality and cost effectiveness.
• Monitor and ensure full compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations across all spa areas.
• Collaborate closely with Hotel Management, Marketing, and Revenue teams to develop spa promotions, packages, and positioning.
• Stay up to date with global wellness trends, new treatments, and industry innovations to continuously evolve the spa offering.
• Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring the spa reflects the identity, philosophy, and luxury positioning of Empiria Group.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Spa Manager or in a senior spa leadership role within a luxury hotel, resort, or high-end wellness environment.
• Strong operational background with hands-on understanding of spa treatments, wellness services, and guest experience standards.
• Demonstrated experience in budget management, cost control, and revenue optimization.
• Recognized certification or diploma in spa management, wellness, beauty therapy, or related disciplines.
• Excellent command of the English language; knowledge of additional foreign languages will be considered a strong asset.
• Strong leadership, people management, and coaching skills, with the ability to build, motivate, and retain high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong commercial mindset with a focus on results, quality, and guest satisfaction.
