In order to support our rapid growth we are seeking to hire a Bar Manager.
Our new Bar Manager will implement our Service Excellence Culture at our fully renovated resort in Corfu, Alkyna Lifestyle Beach Resort. Position Summary
The Bar Manager will be involved in managing the day-to-day operations of the bar, forecasting, planning, and supervising all outlet’s team members. Maximizing sales and revenue through guest satisfaction and employee engagement. Ensures that the bar is managed efficiently according to the established concept statement, providing a courteous, professional, efficient, and flexible service always, following Ella Resorts Standards.
Main Responsibilities
- Manages the bar team for success
- Trains and supervises the bar staff
- Oversees day-to-day operations of the bar, including night-time events
- Runs efficient and profitable bar
- Maintains written recipes and accurate menu information
- Has excellent mixology skills and experience in high-volume venues
- Orders, receives, and manages all bar products
- Conducts an inventory stock take at the end of the month
- Keeps bar sales growing, meet sales targets, and implements sales promotions
- Develops weekly bar specials and seasonal new bar menu items
- Maintains a clean, well-organized, and fully stocked bar
- Interacts with guests and provides services that are above and beyond for guest satisfaction
- Develops signature cocktail list
Requirements
- Three or more years working experience in a similar role in 5-star hotels or high-volume venues
- Degree / Diploma in Tourism or WSET
- Very Good knowledge of English language
- A second language (French, German, Russian, or Italian) will be considered as a plus
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
- Passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service
- Negotiation and excellent Communication skills
- Pleasant personality, customer oriented
