Role Overview:
The Gardener is responsible for the overall care, maintenance, and aesthetic presentation of the hotel's gardens and outdoor areas. The Gardener ensures that all green spaces are healthy, vibrant, and welcoming for guests, while leading the gardening team and coordinating seasonal landscaping projects.
Key accountabilities:
- Plan, implement, and oversee the maintenance of the hotel's gardens and outdoor areas
- Plant, prune, and care for flowers, shrubs, trees, and lawns
- Manage watering, fertilization, and pest control programs
- Design and implement seasonal landscaping and garden improvements
- Supervise and guide Assistant Gardeners and other garden staff
- Ensure all gardening equipment is properly maintained and stored
- Monitor plant health and recommend solutions for any issues
- Collaborate with the management team on garden aesthetics and guest experience
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Gardener or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of plants, gardening techniques, and landscaping
- Ability to plan and execute seasonal garden projects
- Leadership skills and ability to supervise a small team
- Knowledge of health and safety standards in gardening
- Basic knowledge of English is desirable

- Physically fit and adaptable to outdoor work conditions
