Costa Navarino Dunes is looking for a Housekeeping Manager who will supports the Executive Housekeeper in leading the Housekeeping department, ensuring exceptional cleanliness standards, impeccable room presentation, and smooth daily operations. This role plays a key part in delivering a luxury guest experience in line with the hotel’s brand standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house spaces, and other assigned areas.
- Ensure all cleanliness and presentation standards are consistently met according to brand guidelines.
- Conduct regular room inspections and address any discrepancies promptly.
- Lead and support room attendants, supervisors, housemen, and public cleaners.
- Prepare daily schedules and train new employees.
- Collaborate with Front Office, Maintenance, and Laundry to efficiently respond to room requests, maintenance issues, and operational needs.
- Handle communication related to VIP arrivals, special guest requests, and room status updates.
- Ensure housekeeping supplies, chemicals, equipment, and guest amenities are properly stocked and used according to standards.
- Maintain health, hygiene, and safety protocols.
- Oversee the Lost & Found process according to company procedures.
- Assist in manning planning and departmental expense control.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage procurement of cleaning supplies and amenities.
- Prepare daily reports and communicate operational needs to management.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a 5* hotel or luxury resort.
- A Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping standards, procedures, and luxury service expectations.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Good command of English.
- Familiarity with PMS systems (e.g., Opera) and basic computer skills.
