Responsibilities:

• Designs, implements and optimizes group policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines of the data protection management system
• Designs and conducts audits to monitor the compliance with personal data legislation in companies of the Group
• Designs and monitors projects related to data protection issues and monitors the implementation of corrective actions
• Designs and monitors Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for data protection issues in companies of the Group
• Coordinates actions to obtain certifications (e.g. ISO/IEC 27701)
• Designs and implements awareness initiatives and develops informative material on data protection issues, tailored to the needs of individual companies
• Collaborates with the Business Units of the companies of the Group and coordinates the implementation of the Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA), as well as the monitoring of the implementation of the required actions 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from a University or Technological Educational Institute in Informatics or Law or a related subject 
• Master's degree will be considered an additional qualification 
• At least five (5) years of relevant experience in implementing actions related to the protection of personal data 
• Experience in a group of companies and/or in related sectors (e.g. energy, telecommunications, payment institutions) will be considered an additional qualification
• Certifications in Data protection (e.g. CIPP/E, CIPM) will be considered an additional qualification 
• Good knowledge of the English language  
• Availability in case of emergency (upon phone contact)
