We are currently hiring for our 5* resort Domes Aulus Elounda, Curio Collection by Hilton, an ultimate luxury experience, located in Crete.
Houseman
The Role:
The role of the Houseman/Valet at Domes Resorts is primarily to keep the hotel clean and welcoming for guests. By supporting the housekeeping department, they ensure that the hotel environment remains tidy, functional, and that guests enjoy a comfortable stay.
Some of the responsibilities:
Support for Housekeeping and Cleaning Team
· Assist with cleaning rooms, corridors, and public areas of the hotel.
· Replace and replenish cleaning supplies and linens (sheets, towels, etc.).
· Receive and store clean linens from the laundry department.
Maintenance and Equipment
· Inform management or supervisors of any damage or required cleaning supplies.
· Repair minor damages in hotel areas (if needed).
· Clean and maintain cleaning equipment.
Ensuring Hygiene and Safety
· Ensure cleaning procedures are properly followed according to hygiene and safety standards.
· Apply strict cleanliness and hygiene rules.
· Check for wear or issues and inform the maintenance department.
Support for Special Requests
· Assist with setting up tables/chairs, moving beds, etc.
· Respond quickly to special requests from guests or colleagues.
Requirements
Useful to have:
· At least 1 year of experience in a similar position within the hospitality sector.
· Good knowledge of cleaning and disinfection procedures.
· Knowledge of English is considered an advantage.
