UNIC Athens, the University of Nicosia's academic and research base in Greece, combining internationally ranked teaching with state-of-the-art facilities, is seeking Programme-Specialized Admissions Officers to join its team.
These roles are focused on managing admissions and driving enrollment growth for designated academic areas. As part of UNIC Athens' commitment to offering a tailored and high-quality admissions process, these professionals will play a critical role in providing prospective students with expert guidance and personalized support.
The role is primarily outward-facing, with a strong focus on promoting UNIC’s programmes across Greece, developing partnerships with stakeholders such as counselors, agents, and employers, and strengthening UNIC's presence in the region. Successful candidates will take ownership of their assigned academic areas, actively engaging with prospective students while building meaningful connections and expanding outreach efforts, ensuring a seamless balance between specialized program promotion and comprehensive admissions support.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the expert representative for a designated academic program area, delivering detailed advice to prospective students and external stakeholders about program opportunities and career pathways.
- Stay up-to-date on market trends related to the program area and apply insights to recruitment strategies.
- Actively promote the assigned programmes to prospective students, high schools, agents, career counselors, and industry professionals.
- Deliver presentations to schools, companies, and other organizations to increase awareness of UNIC’s offerings.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with agents and key decision-makers to drive programme-specific enrollment growth.
- Represent UNIC Athens at education fairs, open days, workshops, seminars, and conferences held across Greece and abroad (as needed).
- Organize and host events for students, families, counselors, and other stakeholders, showcasing UNIC’s programs and student experience.
- Manage the complete admissions pipeline for the designated programme(s), from responding to inquiries to processing applications and registering students.
- Utilize CRM tools and the Student Database (Exelixis) to efficiently track and manage applicant information.
- Prepare and send acceptance letters and other key communications to students and collaborators.
- Track metrics such as inquiries, applications, admitted students, and enrollment rates, providing regular updates to the Director of Admissions.
- Conduct market and competitor analyses to identify opportunities for program growth and strategic improvements.
- Collaborate with the Director of Admissions on developing and executing targeted strategies to boost enrollment in the designated programme(s).
- Build partnerships with counselors, organizations, and businesses to strengthen UNIC’s reputation and reach in the relevant sectors.
- Respond to general inquiries and contributing to broader enrollment initiatives.
- Share insights and feedback on admissions trends and market opportunities with the admissions department to inform overall strategy.
- Any other duties relevant to Admissions as assigned by the Director of Admissions.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Business, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Specialization or strong background in Computer Science and Data Science.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in admissions, sales, marketing, or business development, ideally within an educational context.
Required Skills:
- Ability to specialize in academic programs and promote them based on their relevance for academic and career development.
- Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills in English (Greek fluency strongly preferred).
- Proven ability to establish and maintain strong connections with students, agents, industry professionals, and educators.
- A proactive approach to meeting enrollment targets, resolving challenges, and driving recruitment initiatives.
- Strong planning and time management skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
