Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a resort-wide Health & Safety strategy aligned with business goals and sustainability objectives.

• Ensure compliance with Greek and EU health & safety legislation and ISO standards.

• Conduct and maintain risk assessments, safe operating procedures, and emergency response plans.

• Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and preventive action implementation.

• Monitor and report key safety KPIs (LTIs, LTIFR, Near Misses, etc.) and prepare regular performance reports.

• Oversee contractor and third-party compliance with H&S requirements and permit-to-work systems.

• Provide guidance, training, and coaching to ensure awareness and competence across all departments.

• Lead and manage H&S improvement and CAPEX projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline (Master’s or NEBOSH certification is an asset).

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Health & Safety Management within hospitality, construction, or large-scale operations.

• Strong knowledge of Greek H&S legislation, EU directives, and ISO 45001 systems.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence safety culture at all levels.

• Fluent in Greek and English (spoken & written).

• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Ability to influence and lead safety initiatives.
• Skilled in identifying and solving safety risks.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Meticulous hazard identification and safety monitoring.
• Ability to handle emergencies and make decisions under pressure.
• Works well with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
