Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods, ensuring high quality and presentation standards.
- Work diligently in the pastry kitchen, learning essential techniques and methods while following recipes.
- Keep your workspace clean and organized, adhering to strict food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Support the pastry team in executing dessert menus and special events.
- Participate in the creative process by suggesting new pastry ideas and flavor combinations.
- Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff to maintain a harmonious and efficient work environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a pastry kitchen or related culinary role, preferably in a luxury hotel or fine dining setting.
- A strong passion for pastry and a desire to learn and grow in the culinary field.
- Familiarity with basic pastry techniques and ingredients.
- Ability to work well under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
