In order to support our rapid growth we are seeking to hire a Purchasing Manager
Position Summary
To lead all purchasing functions regarding the hotel's catering and, in particular, everything related to the timely ordering, qualitative and quantitative receipt, storage, and distribution of products to the hotel's departments. Maintain constructive relationships with both suppliers and internal customers and aligning all purchasing activities with the resort's operational, sustainability, and financial goals.
Responsibilities
- To precisely follow and consistently implement the policy, procedures and instructions of the Central Procurement Office regarding relationships, interactions, and agreements with suppliers.
- Oversee purchasing operations across all departments to ensure compliance with purchasing policies and procedures.
- Monitor the entire purchasing operation to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with F&B, Culinary Team, Housekeeping, Engineering, Spa, and other departments to ensure efficient purchasing and stock management.
- To implement, monitor, and control central agreements regarding the quality and, above all, the prices of products received.
- Supervise the procurement team and ensure timely ordering, inventory control, and delivery of goods.
- Ensure adherence to legal, ethical, and sustainability standards in all procurement practices according to given instructions.
- Maintain and archive accurate purchasing records, reports, and performance metrics.
- Support audits and contribute to continuous process improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years of purchasing experience, ideally in hospitality or luxury environments
- Proven leadership experience in procurement or supply chain roles
- Proficient in procurement software (e.g. Entersoft, MC Material Control, Adaco, SAP, or similar)
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an asset
- Strong communication and decision-making skills
- Strategic thinking and analytical mindset
