Conrad Corfu
Conrad Corfu, opening in 2026, is the latest addition to the Numo Hotels & Resorts portfolio. More than a place to stay, it’s a destination where authentic Corfiot heritage meets stylish modern living, designed to connect people with culture, nature, and each other.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily pastry and dessert production, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation.
- Develop and execute creative dessert menus aligned with the hotel’s concept and standards.
- Supervise, train, and motivate the pastry team to maintain high performance and craftsmanship.
- Ensure proper stock control, storage, and cost-efficient use of ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in all pastry areas (HACCP compliance).
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and other departments for menu planning and special events.
- Support the Executive Chef in budgeting, cost control, and menu costing for the pastry section.
- Contribute to marketing initiatives and promotions by creating signature desserts and concepts that highlight the brand’s identity.
- Work closely with the marketing team for product photography, special presentations, and themed events.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Pastry Chef or Senior Pastry Cook in a 4* or 5* hotel or fine dining environment.
- Strong knowledge of modern pastry techniques and international dessert trends.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and cost management skills.
- Creativity, passion for desserts, and commitment to high quality.
- Good communication skills and team spirit.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment, including weekends and holidays.
- Degree or diploma in Pastry Arts or Culinary Arts will be considered an asset.
