We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Shipping Operations Specialist to join our Maritime Operations team. This role is ideal for individuals with 1–2 years of experience in shipping, maritime logistics, or port operations who are looking to further develop their careers in the maritime and port logistics industry.
The successful candidate will play a hands-on role in coordinating vessel movements, ensuring the accuracy of port and cargo documentation, and maintaining effective communication with ship masters, port agents, terminal operators, and regulatory authorities.
Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate vessel schedules, port calls, and berthing plans in alignment with operational priorities.

Prepare, review, and manage shipping and port-related documents (e.g., port clearance, manifest, bill of lading, cargo declaration).

Liaise with ship masters, port authorities, agents to ensure smooth port operations.

Monitor real-time vessel activities such as cargo operations, bunkering, crew changes, and turnaround performance.

Maintain up-to-date records in internal systems related to ship movements and cargo status.

Support regulatory compliance with local port rules, international maritime standards (e.g., IMO), and company policies.

Participate in operational reporting, performance tracking, and incident documentation.

Provide support in operational planning and process improvements as needed.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Shipping Management, Nautical Science, Logistics, or a related field.

1–2 years of professional experience in shipping operations, port agency, maritime logistics, or a related role.

Good understanding of vessel port calls, documentation processes, and cargo operations.

Strong command of written and spoken English.

Proficient in shipping tools and Operations ERP platforms.

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Must have completed military service
Preferred but Not Required:
- Master's degree in Maritime Studies, Shipping Management, Nautical Science, Logistics or any other relevant certifictaions.

Understanding of IMO regulations and port authority procedures.
