We are looking for a highly skilled ESG Associate to join our team.
Position Scope:
We are looking for a motivated and ambitious ESG Associate to support the implementation of our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives. He/she will work closely with the Head of ESG and various internal teams to support ESG data collection, reporting, research, and strategic project execution that contributes to our long-term sustainability goals.
The role is ideal for applicants at the early stages of their career who are eager to learn and grow within the sustainability field.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Support ESG data collection (and data analysis) and reporting, with a strong focus on alignment with the CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) including environmental, social, and governance KPIs
- Contribute to sustainability disclosures aligned with frameworks such as:
- CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive)
- TCFD (Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures)
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Health & Safety, Procurement, Operations) to gather information and support ongoing initiatives
- Conduct research on ESG trends, regulations, and sustainability best practices
- Assist in ESG rating submissions and responses to investor or stakeholder ESG assessments
- Assist in environmental assessments related to biodiversity, climate, water use, and land impacts
- Help in the preparation of reports, presentations, and communications for internal and external stakeholders
Job qualifications and requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
- 1–2 years of relevant experience (can include internships or academic projects)
- Strong interest in ESG, sustainability frameworks, and environmental issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly motivated, proactive, and eager to learn with curiosity, drive, adaptability and willingness to take initiative
- Ability to work well both independently and in cross-functional teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Familiarity with emissions accounting (Scope 1, 2 & 3) or ESG reporting standards is a plus
