In order to support our rapid growth we are seeking to hire for season 2026 an Assistant Housekeeping Manager.

Position Summary

The Assistant Housekeeping Manager supports the efficient and smooth operation of the Housekeeping Department by assisting the Executive Housekeeper in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest comfort throughout all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities. The Assistant Housekeeping Manager ensures that all housekeeping procedures are executed with excellence, fostering a motivated and service-oriented team environment..

Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Supervise daily housekeeping operations, ensuring that all guest rooms and public areas meet established cleanliness and presentation standards.
  • Assist in scheduling, training, and supervising room attendants, housemen, and other housekeeping staff to ensure optimal productivity and service quality.
  • Inspect rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas regularly, providing feedback and corrective action as needed.
  • Support inventory control and ordering of cleaning supplies, amenities, and linen to ensure efficient cost management.
  • Coordinate with the Front Office, Maintenance, and Laundry departments for smooth daily operations and timely service delivery.
  • Participate in staff recruitment, performance evaluations, and coaching under the guidance of the Executive Housekeeper.
  • Monitor adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulations in all housekeeping activities.
  • Handle guest requests, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of housekeeping procedures and training programs.
  • Act as the department head in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper.


Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory or assistant managerial housekeeping role within a 4- or 5-star hotel or resort.
  • Knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning products, and equipment.
  • Familiarity with PMS and housekeeping management systems.
  • Fluency in English (additional languages are an advantage).
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
  • Excellent eye for detail and commitment to quality.
  • Positive attitude, integrity, and a service-oriented mindset.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving ability and adaptability under pressure.
  • Organizational and time-management skills.
