As an Assistant Security Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our guests, team members, and property. You will work closely with the Security Manager to implement security protocols, monitor systems, and respond to incidents ensuring the safety and well-being of everyone at Conrad Athens The Ilisian.

Responsibilities

• Support the management of hotel safety and security operations, ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Oversee the functionality of security systems, including surveillance equipment and alarm systems, and respond promptly to any potential threats or breaches.
• Perform routine property patrols to identify and mitigate safety hazards or security concerns.
• Lead investigations into incidents or accidents, prepare detailed reports, and propose corrective measures to strengthen overall security.
• Train and supervise security personnel, reinforcing protocols, emergency procedures, and best practices.
• Maintain effective coordination with local law enforcement and emergency response agencies when necessary.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the hotel’s emergency response and crisis management plans.

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a supervisory role in security management within a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Strong understanding of security operations, emergency management, and public safety regulations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals.
• Problem-solving mindset with strong analytical skills to assess security risks and develop actionable solutions.
• Demonstrable leadership qualities, with experience training and managing a team.
• Certifications in security management or safety training are a plus.
• Fluency in Greek and English is essential; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
