Your tasks:
- Responsible for the execution of the Marine Underwriting strategy within the relevant geographical area
- Execute and maintain underwriting governance, guidelines and technical audits worldwide
- Responsible for remaining referral underwriting and strategy deviations for the relevant area, monitoring and analysing amounts / reasons
- Oversee and execute local portfolio steering
- Promote collaboration in the home office and between the home office, local entities and other functions
- Support upskilling of underwriting staff

Your profile:
- Completed training in insurance and finance and further training as an insurance specialist or completed studies with a focus on business administration or law
- Experience in underwriting in marine insurance, especially industrial risks, is desirable
- Strong communication skills in conducting talks and negotiations
- Fluent in written and spoken English, other foreign languages are welcome
- Willingness to travel within and outside Europe
