At Demo SA, one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical manufacturers in injectable facilities, we are looking for a high caliber Buyer to join our procurement team. This position is based in Athens, Kryoneri.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Handle purchasing needs and ensure on time deliveries
• Maintain well organized file depository regarding purchase requests, purchase orders, contracts, invoices and other important documentation
• Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers such as price, quality of goods, payment terms, delivery dates
• Run market research, identify potential new vendors and opportunities
• Analyze the market and prepare comparisons, presentations and reports
• Liaise with other departments in order to cover purchasing needs and achieve defined targets
• Coordinate and execute delivery changes
• Liaise with suppliers when necessary. Identify alternative suppliers to cover company’s needs and best interests

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or relevant studies
• 2-3 years of experience as a Buyer in a Procurement Department in a fast-growing organization
• MS Office –power user of Excel
• Knowledge of ERP – SAP is preferable
• Fluent in English
• Result-driven, achieving targets
• Organization skills/Meeting deadlines
• Ability to work under pressure
