Costa Navarino is looking for its next Revenue Management Manager. The selected candidate will be responsible for driving hotel revenue and profitability by developing and implementing effective pricing and inventory strategies across all segments and channels. Aligned with brand guidelines, this role analyzes market trends, monitors competitor performance, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize business mix, forecast demand, and support strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Developing overall pricing strategy, in alignment with Marriott Divisional Pricing Guidelines including all market segments (retail, group, wholesale) and distribution channels and executing hotel’s strategic plan.
- Effectively managing inventory and pricing strategy in all distribution channels including branded web, 3rd party sites, and the GDS. Checks distribution channels for hotel positioning, information accuracy and competitor positioning.
- Collaborate with the Account Manager and Director of Sales & Marketing (DOSM) in the decision-making process of marketing promotions/campaigns participation, and rates.
- Communicate market direction & revenue management strategies to sales team, hotel leaders, and internal key stakeholders.
- Closely monitoring competitive pricing and set selective sell guidelines for groups and coordinate management of group business closely with the sales and event teams.
- Pro-actively identifying Soft Spot periods and prepare a Soft Spot Revenue Management Plan, in cooperation with Sales, Marketing, with the engagement of Corporate and Regional resources.
- Explore opportunities that drive profit, drive Market Share and Revenue Performance through proper pricing and mix management.
- Analyse competitive reports and formulate appropriate strategies through use of Market share tools, STR. Analysing information, identifying current and potential problems and propose solutions.
- Responsible for effective implementation and compliance with all Marriott Revenue Management Standards, Policies & Procedures. (Rate Plan Configuration, Market Segmentation, PMS-Opera related RM functionalities).
- Utilize brand’s revenue management systems and tools to ensure that revenue and profit are maximized.
- Demonstrate knowledge of job-relevant issues, products, systems, and processes.
- Responsible for administration and use of the One Yield tool and the accuracy of all rooms’ data as input into the system.
- All Rate Solicitations acted upon in a timely manner and rate plans maintenance and extended as appropriate. Maintain accurate reservation system information.
- Ensures that sales strategies and rate restrictions are communicated, implemented, and modified as market conditions fluctuate.
- Actively looking at trends for mid/long term, along with historical data and develop an action plan as a team (Rev Mgt, S&M, GM, Finance) to take advantage of opportunities or minimize risks.
- Generate and provides accurate and timely results in the form of reports, presentations, etc. Submit reports in a timely manner, ensuring delivery deadlines.
- Responsible for the preparation of 30-60-90 day fully updated Forecasts monthly.
- Responsible for preparation and presentation of Rooms Revenue Management elements as part of the Annual Budget Process and Budget Presentations.
- Leading the property’s weekly Revenue Management/Strategy Meeting.
- Utilize interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others; advocates sound financial/business decision-making; demonstrates honesty/integrity; leads by example.
- Complete understanding and effective execution of current and new Revenue Management systems and Tools. Includes Opera PMS/One Yield/HPP/MARSHA/ MarRFP, EMPOWER etc.
Requirements
- 4-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Economics, Hotel Management, or related major
- 3+ years direct experience in Revenue Management in 5* Branded Hotels
- Fluent English
- Analytical and advance Excel skills. Strong preference for analysing and organizing numerical, statistical, and financial data
- Strong preference for setting up and using systems to monitor and evaluate information from a wide variety of sources
- Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintains them over time. Develop and manages internal key stakeholder relationships.
