Costa Navarino is in Messinia in the southwest Peloponnese, in one of the most unspoiled and breathtaking landscapes in the Mediterranean. W Costa Navarino, exclusively for adults and young adults over 12 years old, offers 226 stylish rooms, 2 bedroom suites and 3 bedroom villas with infinity private pools, staged in the Bay of Navarino with stunning Ionian Sea views, The Watersports Center, The Away Spa and gym with a heated 25m-long lap pool, including the new Navarino Agora, an open marketplace with retail, street food, open-air cinema and exciting programming throughout the day and night.

Costa Navarino is looking for a Revenue Management Executive. The selected candidate will contribute to hotel room revenue growth by supporting the Director of Revenue Management or Revenue Manager in development and implementation of effective inventory and pricing strategies based on future demand forecasts, current trends, and historical data. The Revenue Management Executive should be able to utilize in the best possible way the RM systems in order to understand the booking behavior and ultimately take the right strategic decisions, which would have an impact on the demand, the inventory, the rates, the hurdles and consequently, the revenues of the hotel.

Responsibilities

  • Support the DORM in successfully implementing and monitoring of Policies & Procedures, as well as provide recommendations to improve the efficiency of RM processes.
  • Assist the DORM in the configuration of Rate Codes in High Performance Pricing (HPP), Opera PMS & OXI interface. Configuring packages in Opera, which allocates financially the revenues in the right department. These tasks require attention to detail, which is revenue impacting.
  • Assist the DORM with the daily tasks related to the overview of the systems’ recommendations. Responsible for handling RM systems, requiring attention to detail and knowledge. Identify and analyze trends, booking and stay patterns, as well as channel mix analysis. Prepare Forecast reports for 30, 60 & 90 days out, which are communicated with the Operations teams of the hotel on a weekly basis. Support the DORM in identifying proactively need periods and prepare a Revenue Management plan, in cooperation with Sales & Marketing to stimulate the demand.
  • Ensure the data inputs from reservations and events departments are accurate and they do not negatively impact the recommendations of our systems (One Yield, Marsha) by monitoring specific indicators.
  • Develop/maintain professional & healthy working relationships internally with hotel departments and externally with regional Marriott HQ team or account managers of different RM channels.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly reports on revenue & room nights production per Segment and geographical production. Monitor Wholesale account production and ensure together with the Sales Team that our partners are in line with the strategy that we have implemented. Ensures compliance in company promotions and rate parity across our booking channels.
  • Attend daily meetings with the DORM and the operations team, discussing the performance of the hotels, accessing the trends, and taking strategic decisions.
  • Actively participating in RevMax meetings by preparing various reports that would be vital in decision making. Determining and implementing the right strategies to ensure that company goals are reached.
  • Assist the DORM during the Budget preparations and prepare all the reports related to the Budget (market, competition, segment, room type analysis). Implementing the right strategies to reach the targets.
  • Involved in developing the hotel’s pricing strategy for Transient, Wholesale & Groups, by preparing various reports which provide market intelligence and participating in pricing related meetings.
  • Resolve RM related issues, related to systems or procedures, by gathering information from the relative departments, and by having deep knowledge of the RM systems. Develop and evaluate alternatives and solutions. Evaluate straight line room availability in our branded website daily by analyzing the outputs of One Yield (RM system) and reviewing the inputs in One Yield afterwards.
  • Access hotel’s position pricing daily through One Yield (RM System) by evaluating the hotel’s demand/supply, segment mix and the rates of our direct competitors.
  • Follow all H&S rules, hotel policies, SOPs, and Brand Standards at all times.
  • Attend all trainings and seminars provided by the company and continuously remain updated for all trends and market news.


Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in Revenue Management, Reservations, or Business Analysis within the hospitality industry
  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BSc) – preferably in Business Administration, Finance or Tourism Management
  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written) – essential; additional languages are a plus
  • Ability to handle difficult and or stressful situations
  • Ability to operate hotel systems (One Yield, Marsha, Opera etc.) & other software and computer skills (Excel/PowerPoint, Word)
  • Analytical skills related to financial statements & market data / Forecast revenues
  • Decision making and problem-solving skills / Communication Skills Spoken, Written and Email etiquette / Multi-Tasking / Strategic planning & thinking / Planning & Organizing / Flexibility & adaptability
  • Develop effective working relationships internally & externally
