We are looking for a highly skilled ESG Manager to join our team.
The Scope of the Position:
We are looking for an experienced ESG Manager to lead our Environmental, Social, and Governance efforts, focusing on regulatory compliance, sustainability reporting, emissions tracking (Scope 1, 2, and 3) and ESG strategy planning. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ESG frameworks and EU regulations, with a solid understanding of construction-related sustainability challenges, including circular economy and biodiversity impact. This role supports our commitment to transparency, sustainability, and positive environmental and social impact.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Contribute to ESG strategy development and implementation in alignment with corporate objectives and regulatory standards
- Lead sustainability reporting activities in alignment with CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive), TCFD (Task Force on Climate – related Financial Disclosures), and other relevant sustainability frameworks
- Manage ESG data collection and analysis for emissions across Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3, and coordinate with teams to identify reduction opportunities
- Ensure alignment with the EU Taxonomy for sustainable activities, particularly regarding environmental objectives applicable to the construction sector
- Support environmental assessments, with a focus on biodiversity impacts, water, and land use
- Monitor ESG-related risks and opportunities and integrate them into project planning and company operations
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., HSE, procurement, construction) and external stakeholders (e.g., auditors, investors, regulators) on ESG matters
- Stay up to date on ESG regulations, industry trends, and framework to ensure compliance and best practices
Job Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Business Administration (MBA), or a related field
- Minimum 4 years of experience in ESG, sustainability, or environmental management. Construction sector experience strongly preferred
- In-depth knowledge of ESG reporting frameworks such as CSRD, GRI, TCFD, and the EU Taxonomy
- Proven experience in emissions accounting, including Scope 3 calculations
- Strong writing skills for reporting purposes
- Excellent project management, analytical, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external stakeholders
- Professional certifications (e.g. Emissions Calculation - GHG Protocol) will be considered as an asset
