The company offers the opportunity to those who wish to express interest in the position of “Senior Electromechanical Specialist”, for its premises in Halkidiki. The position will report to the Mobile Maintenance Foreman of the Underground Garage, based in Olympias.
Main Responsibilities:
- Development and continuous maintenance of full comprehension of electrical and mechanical schematics to troubleshoot.
- Development of plans and work instructions for the team to follow for troubleshooting, including reporting of issues.
- Contacting, establishing and maintaining communication with OEM suppliers and engaging them to assist with OLM work.
- Support of scheduling activities by providing estimates of planned work requirements.
- Development, maintenance, and updating of action plans and trackers.
- Engagement with other departments to ensure plans and schedules are maintained.
- Hands-on work with equipment to ensure reliability.
- Any ad-hoc work as requested by line manager.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics engineering. May be replaced by 5 years of experience in a senior position.
- Experienced technician with min. 8 to 10 years of experience in industrial settings working on heavy equipment, alternatively a BSc or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 3 to 5 years industrial settings.
- A high regard for safe practices
- Proficient computer knowledge of Microsoft, Deswik and Autodesk Packages
- General knowledge of Mine Planning packages.
- Good ability for both teamwork and individual performance of tasks
- Good ability to take responsibility.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
