This role within the Furniture Fixtures & Equipment team is responsible for the purchase, delivery and installation of products and services of assigned categories concerning our hospitality operations BU, according to the company’s internal procedures, meeting quality and cost standards.
Responsibilities
- Participated in developing the client's and hotel operator's brief, delivery strategy, and managing the design proposal, procurement, and execution of all FF&E and OS&E aspects.
- Reviewing and assisting in project status reporting regarding all FF&E aspects to involved parties.
- Execution of sourcing projects across various categories delivered within allocated timeframes.
- Develop and maintain procurement documentation as required
- Conduct quality checks as needed.
- Support the project procurement in guiding and delivering value engineering of specifications, budget analysis including price verification and price negotiation with suppliers.
- Work with the Design and Accounting Teams by issuing PO’s, deposit checks and final payments to manufacturers throughout the procurement process.
- Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes affecting procurement and supply chain practices
- Contribute to the tracking of departmental KPIs and provide regular updates on progress and performance
Requirements
- Architect or Interior Designer degree or in a similar field
- Minimum 3 years of previous relevant experience in FF&E purchasing or project management role; hospitality or interior design industry is preferred
- Knowledgeable in executing multi-step sourcing and procurement projects and processes
- Experience in Autocad and Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate Excel skills
- Proficient in English
