About Us:
Fenchurch Faris Ltd. is a registered Lloyd’s Broker with 40 years under its belt providing insurance and reinsurance risk management services across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The company was launched as a joint venture between Basim R. Faris, who is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute in the U.K., and Fenchurch PLC, an English insurance brokerage. It consists of 11 regional offices in 8 cities across the region and our clients include insurance companies, corporate entities, SME’s and individuals.
Your Role:
- Support reinsurance negotiations and placements to ensure clients get the best coverage and terms
- Analyze risks, assess all info, and ensure placements match risk profiles
- Assist in negotiating contract renewals and adjusting terms where needed
- Build strong, trusted relationships with reinsurers, clients, and key stakeholders
- Prepare necessary documents and reports, ensuring compliance with company regulations
- Always act with integrity and professionalism in all dealings
Your Skills & Experience:
- University degree (business or technical backgrounds preferred)
- 1-2 years of experience, ideally in the insurance or reinsurance sector
- Fluent in English (bonus points for other languages)
- Strong skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Great communication skills and customer-first mentality
- Excellent at negotiating and solving complex problems
- Driven, results-focused, and motivated to make an impact
- Comfortable working in a diverse, multicultural environment
