Requirements:

• Valid captain's license
• Proven experience in sailing and navigation
• Minimum six years of experience on weekly charters with catamarans
• Basic Knowledge of engines, electrics, and systems onboard; Competent skipper overall
• Deal with incidents while sailing.
• Computer literate to deal with required company paperwork.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to safety protocol.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Good Command of English
• Calm and collected, always remaining professional.
• Passion for the sea and a desire to share that passion with others.

Responsibilities:

• Skippering of Catamaran as per outlined itinerary and all associated maintenance and safety responsibilities
• Primary facilitator/motivator to ensure a positive group experience for all passengers
• Completing and sending expense reports
• Supervising work on board especially when done outside of the base
• Socializing with passengers as well as any reasonable task or services needed
