We are now looking for a 

Communication Coordinator

to join our team working for a better future. The position is permanent and the preferred location is in Athens, Greece. 

What you will be doing 

Parts Coordination Management (PCM) is part of Wartsila Global Logistics Services (WGLS). Our main objectives are to provide fast and high-quality responses to our customers for spare part quotations, orders, deliveries and claim resolutions. 

We are looking for a team player with strong communication & presentation skills, good analytical thinking and adaptable to join us, to support our communication & business support journey.

As Communication Coordinator, your work will focus on these responsibilities: 

  • Write a variety of different content to support internal communications including Viva Engage posts, Compass articles and newsletters
  • Serve as PCM point of contact for posts and articles
  • Take the lead and recommend techniques to communicate PCM’s success stories and lessons learnt
  • Create, edit and share videos across PCM/WGLS audience
  • Monitor analytics and report on the effectiveness of communication initiatives
  • Make sure that all marketing, training and communication materials meet the company’s brand identity strategy and ensuring uniformity of content
  • Stay up to date on communication trends and make recommendations for adjustments to communication practices
  • Support WGLS & PCM MT with the creation of visually compelling presentations 
  • Support with high level operational tasks globally according to business needs
  • Utilized in case of unexpected events or workload picks that cannot be covered otherwise
  • Being the Operational Excellence (OE) Ambassador and drive OE mindset within PCM
  • Actively participating in OE initiatives and specially focus on the sustainability phase
  • Participate in global projects within parts business ensuring alignment with corporate initiatives. Ensure that customers and internal stakeholders’ needs are understood and are taken in consideration. 

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have: 

  • Diploma or Bachelor degree in Marketing, Communication or Business Administration
  • Exceptional writing in English and interpersonal communication skills
  • Analytical mind and ability to think critically
  • Superior time management, organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Familiar with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and capable of creating visually compelling presentations. Knowledge of publishing programs will be considered as a plus but it is not prerequisite
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
