EHS Officer

SUMMARY:

The position holder will be a member of Environmental, Health & Safety Team, supporting the implementation of the EHS system. The position is reporting to the EHS Manager of the site.

Main responsibilities:

1. Administrative support on EHS system revisions
2. Implementation of actions that are described in the EHS System e.g
3. Employee evacuation list revisions
4. Waste recovery/disposal record
5. Organize the annual health check program
6. Order supplies for infirmary and local pharmacies
7. Safe behavior & condition inspections
8. Participation in internal & external audits
9. Maintain the record of corrective and preventive actions of EHS system. Weekly follow up
10. Maintain records and files for EHS that are under the responsibility of the department
11. Perform the EHS induction training for new employees as well as the annual General EHS training
12. Coordination of activities carried out by HSE contractors and suppliers (e.g. Assessments, measurements)

Candidate Profile:

• Degree/Diploma of University of engineering (Mechanical /Electrical/Chemical) or Technological Institute of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering 
• At least 3 years of experience in industry in similar role
• Previous experience in Pharmaceutical sector will be considered as a plus
• Knowledge of English
• Knowledge of MS Office
• Teamwork and collaboration spirit
• Acquaintance with GMP rules is an advantage
• Hands on experience and self-motivation
