GEK TERNA GROUP, one of the leading business Groups in Greece, is currently looking for a Senior Tender Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Supports Group’s Business Development Unit which is in charge of the group’s activities expansion
• Manages the entire bid cycle of PPP and concession projects, starting from viability assessment, to project closure and commencement
• Creates and monitors the bid budget
• Defines the bid preparation timeline and monitors its implementation by all parties
• Manages communication with third parties and stakeholders during proposal preparation
• Reviews financial models and project assumptions to reflect requested project arrangements and give relevant directions to advisors
• Reviews and assesses tender documents and manages the liaison with the tendering authority
• Ensures that business plan and bid are taking under consideration strategic issues, mobilization capacity, competition, environmental factors and risks
• Follows internal approval processes before bid submission
• Develops/compiles the project’s long term business plan based on available data by the tendering authority, tender documents and third parties’ deliverables
• Ensures business plans and bids are depicted on budget, on time and to the best quality, in line with the bid strategy decided during the go-no go process
• Anticipates risks and adjustments needed by following bid status and progress
• Provides feedback bid reports (success/failure reasons, technical & financial performance improvements, process optimization)
• Contributes to external advisors selection, finalization of relevant agreements and partnership handling
• Operates as a Liaison with the involved internal departments (financial, tender, technical and legal) on a regular basis
• Prepares reports for the Management and/or the BoD and/or to the Investment Committee as needed for the purpose of taking Go/No-Go decisions

Requirements:

• Msc in Engineering and/or Financial or Project Management
• 5+ years of related experience in construction projects
• Excellent command of the English language (oral and written)
• Second foreign language would be considered as an advantage
• Excellent command of MS Office
