Job Description

A day in the life of an Azure Cloud Developer

As an Azure Cloud Developer, you will be part of a growing team composed by our Cloud Data Architects, Engineers and Analysts working on Azure Cloud Environment. You will be involved in all stages of development, from solution design to development and deployment, testing, and maintenance.

Your main duties will be to:

• Design, build and modify existing business-tier components, Web applications, and database objects by Using Microsoft platform technologies (ASP.NET Web API) and Azure
• Participate in the design and building of modern cloud-native application services
• Collaborate with Team Leads to define/clarify business requirements.
• Create and run unit and integration tests throughout the development lifecycle
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance Team on issue reporting, resolution, and change management
• Participate in the modernization of existing applications into cloud-ready and/or cloud-native applications (applications migration)
• Assist other teams in resolving issues that may develop as a result of applications or the integration of multiple components

Qualifications

If you have:

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other relevant disciplines
• At least 7 years of experience in ICT sector
• At least 3 years of experience as an Azure Cloud Developer
• Experience in the design, development and implementation of cloud-native distributed applications, microservices, serverless applications, and infrastructure-as-code technology
• Experience in using automation tools and techniques related to cloud technologies (CI/CD, Azure pipelines), as well as container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Working experience in UI frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Kendo UI, DevExpress, etc.)
• Experience in SQL Server development
• Knowledge of emerging cloud technologies (e.g., AI/ML, blockchain, Biceps).
• Basic knowledge of Python, and Java
• Knowledge of Serverless/Microservice concepts and architecture
• Solid knowledge of SDLC and agile techniques
• Certification in Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure Developer Associate)
• Excellent written and oral skills in English
• Eager to continuously search, identify, and implement cloud solutions that can enhance a client's output and security
