About the Role

Polyeco S.A., a leading environmental and waste management company, is seeking a Site Manager to join its International Operations team. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated and talented Chemical or Environmental Engineer (or a related field) to play a key role in the execution of environmental sustainability projects abroad.

As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising hazardous waste management operations across international sites, ensuring timely and high-quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and control the project from the design stage through to completion.
• Oversee daily site operations, ensuring delivery within time, budget, and quality constraints.
• Liaise with Project Managers and HR to ensure adequate site staffing using approved contractors/agencies.
• Supervise, manage, and motivate site personnel and subcontractors to stay on target with project timelines
• Maintain accurate daily reports and comprehensive site documentation.
• Perform regular health, safety, and environmental inspections in line with company and legal requirements. incl. daily Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings
• Implement quality control and environmental protection procedures.
• Maintain professional relationships with clients, authorities, and stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Chemical, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related field
• Fluent in English (spoken and written) – mandatory
• Excellent PC literacy and familiarity with project management tools
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Experience in industrial environments, waste management, or international roles is considered a plus
• Willingness to work in challenging, multicultural environments
• Ability to prepare reports, assist in budgeting, and monitor KPIs
