Duties and responsibilities:


•    Monitors and/or controls all matters relevant to the provision of
services through the software platforms within the Maritime
Operations Center (MOC)
•    Uploads and keeps updated daily Diaplous fleet, both in Indian Ocean
Region (IOR) and in West Africa (WAF), in coordination with the
relevant Departments
•    Uploads the required maritime and security related information to the
Software Platform database as instructed by the MOC Supervisor
•    Ensures self-awareness of relevant regulatory framework, legislation
changes, initiatives and maritime industry's technology developments
•    Reports to the MOC Supervisor any abnormality identified during the
drafting or uploading any info to the software platform database
•    Replies to Clients inquiries and addresses Clients request to the
Maritime Operations Center team as appropriate
•    Supports the MOC Supervisor and the Fleet Operator in their efforts
for the continuous adaptation of the Ops Centre functions, to the
evolving business needs
•    Reports to the MOC Supervisor & the IT manager in the case of
software malfunction
•    Communicates customer issues with operations team and collaborates with the MOC Supervisor for identifying the optimum ways of improving the customer experience, including resolving problems and complaints, always in accordance with Company's established policies and procedures
•    Adheres to the established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
•    Participates in the planned training of the Ops Department
•    He/She is updated for the developments in the maritime regulatory
Framework
•    Contacts Diaplous representatives, including Senior Team Leaders,
and port agents in various regions for obtaining maritime related
information, on a case-by-case basis

 

Qualifications:


•    Bachelor or Master's degree in Maritime Studies
•    English Language (C2)
•    Minimum of one (1) year experience in the maritime/ shipping
industry either at sea or in a related shore side position as Assistant
Marine Operator
•    Good knowledge of maritime regulations and marine industry's
standards as well as HSEQ practices
•    Strong oral and written communication skills
•    Strong problem-solving skills
•    Excellent communication skills in English language, both written and
verbal.
•    High attention to detail
•    Proficient in using Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office
