As a Port Agent at Karval, you will serve as the primary liaison between the vessel, port authorities, and our clients, ensuring smooth and efficient port calls.

You’ll be responsible for coordinating vessel pre arrivals, supervising cargo operations, managing crew changes, and handling customs and immigration formalities.

Your role is crucial in overseeing all port logistics from start to finish, ensuring compliance and timely execution.

You’ll support a wide variety of vessels, including tankers, bulk carriers, heavylift ships, cruise liners, and naval units, providing hands-on operational support both on board and ashore.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in ship agency operations, preferably in a port-facing or onboard role.
• Good understanding of port and maritime operations, especially husbandry services.
• Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Office and operational platforms (E-dla, E-pilotage, Hellenic Maritime Single Window)
• Valid driving license

Competencies:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Greek

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Very good planning, Priority Setting and time-management skills
