Medicair SA a rapidly growing company, developing and manufacturing generic medicines in a broad range of categories is currently searching for a junior analyst for our Analytical R&D department. 

Location: Oinofyta, Greece

The Analytical RnD Analyst (Junior Level) will be responsible for:

• Execute the daily schedule of analyses and provide the necessary reports.

• Interpret and evaluate test results, comparing them to established specifications and control limits, reporting out-of-specification results to the Senior Analyst, Supervisor and Manager
• Participate in analytical method development, execute evaluation and transfer of the method (e.g., for HPLC, GC, UV-Vis).

• Document all experimental data in according with internal SOPs and GMPs.

• Investigating questionable test results in collaboration with the RND Senior Analyst & Supervisor.
• Ensuring compliance with safety, operational, hygiene rules and procedures in the chemical and microbiological laboratory.
• Adhere to laboratory safety rules (e.g., wearing masks, gloves, safety glasses when required, working in the fume hood when using hazardous toxic substances).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in sciences, preferably in Chemistry.
• Master’s degree in Analytical Chemistry or relevant field will be considered as an asset.
• Professional experience (0-2 years) in a physicochemical laboratory of a pharmaceutical organization (QC or RnD) will be considered as a plus.
• Experience in analytical method validation and verification will be considered as an asset.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
• Fluent in English both written and oral
• Power user in MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
