This position is suited to professionals with four or more years of progressive experience in pharmacovigilance, who have developed a solid understanding of pharmacovigilance activities, regulatory expectations, and their interdependencies.
Depending on background, expertise, and demonstrated potential, candidates may be appointed to expert or managerial roles. Responsibilities will be aligned with individual strengths, leadership capability, and capacity to contribute to operational excellence, mentoring, and continuous organisational improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- In a managerial role, assume clear accountability for a team, including workload planning, coordination, and delivery of assigned tasks, volumes, and outcomes
- In an expert role, provide subject-matter leadership in defined areas of pharmacovigilance, offering expert guidance, training, foresight, and operational support
- Support and manage pharmacovigilance deliverables for complex client accounts, ensuring quality, timeliness, and responsiveness
- Assume accountability for one or more defined pharmacovigilance domains
- Design, implement, and optimise pharmacovigilance processes to improve effectiveness, quality, regulatory compliance, and client satisfaction
- Contribute to internal quality assurance activities and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate closely with training and quality functions to support organisational objectives.

Specifically, candidates should:
- Have at least four years of substantive experience in pharmacovigilance
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of pharmacovigilance processes, scientific principles, and applicable regulatory frameworks
- Be able to lead, develop, and enhance pharmacovigilance systems and processes
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Demonstrate professionalism, initiative, and a commitment to high-quality, consistent outcomes
- Be comfortable taking ownership of responsibilities, working independently and collaboratively.
