As we continue to expand our portfolio, Ella Resorts is seeking a commercially driven, strategic, and hands-on Director of Sales & Marketing to lead revenue generation, brand positioning, and market expansion across its growing portfolio.
Reporting directly to the Chief Growth Officer, this role is pivotal in shaping and executing integrated sales and marketing strategies that drive profitability, brand equity, and guest acquisition across all channels.
The ideal candidate combines strong leadership capabilities with deep hospitality expertise, digital fluency, and a performance-oriented mindset.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy aligned with the company’s growth objectives.
- Collaborate closely with the Chief Growth Officer to define sales streams, revenue targets, market positioning, and evolution plans.
- Actively participate and overlook Sales & Marketing teams on annual budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking across all relevant commercial functions.
Sales Management
- Oversee all sales segments including leisure, corporate, B2B, B2C, OTA´s, and partnerships.
- Drive direct sales growth while optimizing distribution channels and third-party relationships.
- Identify new business opportunities, strategic alliances, and emerging markets.
Marketing & Brand
- Oversee the definition and execution of the brand strategy across all properties, ensuring a cohesive, distinctive, and market-leading brand presence.
- Oversee integrated marketing campaigns (digital, social, PR, content, and offline).
- Ensure consistent brand identity and storytelling across all guest touchpoints.
- Lead performance marketing initiatives with a strong focus on ROI and conversion.
Revenue Optimization
- Work closely with Revenue Management to align pricing, demand generation, and channel strategy.
- Leverage data analytics and market insights to inform decision-making and maximize ADR and RevPAR.
- Identify and evaluate AI-powered forecasting, segmentation, and personalization tools to enhance pricing accuracy and demand generation strategies.
- Monitor competitive landscape and adjust strategies accordingly.
Digital & E-commerce
- Drive direct bookings through website optimization, CRM, and digital campaigns.
- Oversee SEO/SEM, paid media, and marketing automation strategies.
- Enhance customer journey and personalization through data-driven initiatives.
- Integrate and leverage AI-driven tools and technologies to optimize marketing performance, customer segmentation, personalization, and demand forecasting.
CRM & Loyalty
- Coordinate a comprehensive CRM strategy to enhance guest acquisition, retention, and lifetime value.
- Optimize CRM platform and marketing automation tools to improve engagement, conversion, and guest experience.
- Monitor and report on CRM performance metrics, including retention rates, customer lifetime value (CLV), and campaign effectiveness.
Team Leadership
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales and marketing team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Align cross-functional teams (sales, marketing revenue, product) to deliver cohesive strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 8–12+ years of experience in senior sales and marketing roles within hotel luxury lifestyle brands.
- Proven track record in driving revenue growth and brand development.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, distribution channels, and revenue management principles.
- Experience managing multi-property or regional portfolios is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
