Curious Ahead is seeking an Online Reputation Management (ORM) Executive to join its dynamic team. 
The successful candidate will be a vital part of the ORM team, responsible for daily client operations and the administration of digital marketing and communication initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be able to effectively safeguard brands' reputation online by controlling and disseminating content that people can view, interact with and be influenced by.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the social web environment (social media, news sites, blogs, forums, review platforms) to quickly identify negative content associated with a client (brand or individual). The candidate will make use of web crawlers and company's preset alert mechanisms in order to listen to the social web diligently, analyze online conversations to understand public sentiment, identify threats, and prepare regular, insightful reports for clients on key ORM metrics.
  • Create and post content throughout the social web environment, as well as reply to reviews, complaints, and comments from dissatisfied users, based on predefined guidelines and policies.
  • Collaborate with the team in order to handle negative publicity,  neutralize bad reviews or comments, and implement counter actions.
  • Minimize damage in case of pre-existing or potential crisis by implementing effective predefined online reputation management practices.
  • Effectively evaluate how each client engages with their audience and vise versa to identify opportunities or potential risks.
  • Build online reputations consistently by using multiple web-based channels, tools and platforms.  

Requirements:

Degree in digital marketing, business administration, marketing/branding, communications, PR, journalism, or a related field.

The candidate should:

  • Have strong written & verbal communication and organizational skills to manage multiple clients, communicate effectively, write appealing content (posts, comments, etc.), as well as organize and send reports to each client. Excellent writing ability, including the capability to write in different styles and follow directions, is crucial.
  • Have a deep understanding of search engines, social media, blogs, forums and listening tools (know and actively use them).
  • Effectively manage their own time and maintain a tight schedule.
  • Be able to work independently and flexibly.
  • Collaborate closely with other teams.
  • Exhibit meticulous attention to detail.
  • Manage high-profile accounts.
  • Handle difficult situations and multiple crisis scenarios.
  • Be alerted and well-prepared to take immediate action if a brand's reputation is at risk.
  • Utilize various reputation management tactics to ensure a company's reputation remains intact.
  • Be collaborative and flexible when working with the team as needed.

Experience across traditional, digital and social media related to reputation management issues and crisis management will be a plus. Active blogging, tweeting, or participating in online forum discussions will be considered a strong asset.
