PeopleCert is looking for an experienced and analytical Insights Manager to lead qualitative & quantitative, research initiatives that drive strategic decision-making across the business. This role will collaborate closely with research agencies to design and execute research initiatives and will be responsible for translating key findings into clear, actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making.
This role requires a deep understanding of research methodologies, strong project management skills, and the ability to translate complex data into clear business recommendations.
As Insights Manager, your tasks will include the following:
- Design, manage, and execute end-to-end research projects (e.g., brand tracking, usage & attitudes, ad testing, customer satisfaction).
- Translate business questions into research briefs and actionable insight-led plans.
- Partner with stakeholders across marketing, product, and digital experience to align research with strategic objectives.
- Manage relationships with external research agencies, ensuring methodological rigor, timely delivery, and quality insights.
- Review and guide proposals, sampling approaches, and reporting outputs.
- Analyze large datasets, turning research findings into concise, actionable insights and presentations for senior leadership.
- Combine primary research with other data sources (e.g., market data, internal analytics) to enrich decision-making.
- Act as a trusted partner to internal stakeholders, understanding their challenges and proactively proposing research solutions.
- Present insights in a compelling narrative that informs strategy and inspires action.
- Ensure research best practices and methodological integrity.
- Stay current with new tools, platforms, and trends in consumer and market research, bringing innovative approaches to the team.
What we look for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Statistics, Psychology, Business, or related field. A Master’s degree in a relevant field will be considered an asset.
- 10+ years of experience, including at least 4 years in a senior research role—either within a leading research agency or on the client side—bringing deep expertise and strategic insight to the table.
- Strong expertise in quantitative methodologies.
- New tools literacy is considered a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders with precision and clarity.
- Exceptional analytical, storytelling, and presentation skills.
- Excellent knowledge of English (C2 level certification desired, LanguageCert C2 LTE or C2 IESOL certificate would be a plus) Extra languages desired.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with SPSS, Tableau, or similar tools is a plus.

Working on Home Office (HO) Secure English Language Tests (SELTs)
Any person who is engaged by PeopleCert to work on the SELT service must undergo a Background Check (the results of which must be acceptable to PeopleCert and the HO) prior to commencing their SELT duties. All SELT personnel will be required to complete a declaration (provided by PeopleCert) where the existence of any criminal record and/or bankruptcy must be declared.
If working on the SELT service in the UK, background checks will include:
- A basic or enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check
- Right to Work in the UK check (including nationality, identity and place of residence)
- HO security check (Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) or Counter Terrorist Check (CTC)
- Financial background check
- Employment reference check.
- If working on the SELT service anywhere in the world (outside of the UK) personnel will undergo background checks that are equivalent to those stated for the UK.
In addition, if personnel are required to speak to SELT candidates they must be appropriately skilled in English language and, where SELT services are provided anywhere in the world (outside of the UK), the official language of the relevant country.
