Head of Marketing

Join our team at Canaves Collection as the Head of our very talented Marketing team.

We're looking for an enthusiastic and inspiring leader with a flair for creativity and an endless passion for the hospitality industry.

Your role:

As Head of Marketing (Director of Marketing) at Canaves Collection, you’ll take full ownership of the brand’s marketing strategy and lead a talented in-house team in bringing it to life across all touchpoints.

Working closely with your in-house team and trusted external partners, you’ll oversee content creation, brand messaging, and performance marketing to drive direct bookings, brand recognition, and guest engagement.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing and communication plans to build brand awareness and support business growth.
  • Oversee content strategy and production across all channels, including social media, press releases, newsletters and the company website.
  • Collaborate with the in-house creative team to produce high-quality, visually aligned marketing materials—from brand campaigns to operational needs -ensuring consistency and excellence across all guest touchpoints.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity, using insights to refine strategies and maintain a competitive edge in the luxury hospitality space.
  • Supervise all digital marketing initiatives, including SEO/SEM, paid media, analytics, CRM, and social media campaigns.
  • Lead and Support a  Marketing & Communications team of 4 professionals in all aspects of their daily tasks,ensuring seamless execution of ongoing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Plan and coordinate branded photo and video shoot production, ensuring high standards of visual storytelling and content alignment.


Requirements

Experience:

  • A minimum of 2+ years in a Marketing & Communications position, with a proven track record in luxury hospitality.
  • Prior experience in developing and executing campaigns that emphasize creativity and innovation in the luxury sector will be considered an asset.

Education:

  • A degree in Branding, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Skills & Expertise:

  • Creative Excellence – Proven ability to develop compelling and cohesive brand narratives that capture attention and drive engagement. Skilled in creating visually impactful campaigns that align with a high-end luxury brand image.
  • Marketing Tools Proficiency – Experience with digital marketing tools, including Google Analytics for tracking campaign performance, social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.), email marketing software (e.g., Mailchimp ), CRM systems (e.g., Revinate), CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress), and design tools such as Canva or Adobe Suite will be considered an asset.
  • Tailored Communication – Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft persuasive, polished content tailored to a luxury audience, whether for social media, email campaigns, press releases, or internal messaging.
  • Leadership and Team Development – Proven experience leading and mentoring a marketing team, motivating team members, providing constructive feedback, and fostering a collaborative work environment that encourages creativity and continuous growth.
  • Luxury Brand Expertise – Deep understanding of the principles behind luxury brand positioning, with hands-on experience in developing strategies that appeal to high-net-worth individuals and discerning clients.
  • Project Management Mastery – Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining brand consistency and attention to detail.
  • Proactive and Strategic Thinker – A forward-thinking approach to marketing, driven by a passion for understanding market trends, anticipating customer needs, and creating innovative solutions to engage and retain a luxury customer base.

 Languages:

  • Native or Full Professional Proficiency in both English & Greek Language is required.
