The role

We are looking for a Corporate and Marketing Communications Specialist to join our in-house Corporate Communications team and drive our diverse external and internal communications activities and campaigns, from inception to delivery and reporting. Key goal is to build and strengthen the corporate brand and support marketing efforts to establish Upstream as a leading international mobile marketing platform. Having studied in a relevant field, at an under or postgraduate level, you already have some solid experience in a similar mid-level role or are ready to rise to the occasion. You are equal parts creative and practical, swearing by project management. You can gracefully navigate between the digital and conventional and are always looking for the next new thing in MarCom to further build your arsenal.

What you will be doing

The role is based in our HQ offices in Athens, Greece.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Design, project manage and execute 360° relevant and inspired Corporate Communications & Marketing Campaigns to reach an international audience including customers, prospects and other critical publics.
  • Ensure the flawless deployment of projects across traditional, digital, social and performance channels working together with the PR agency and the in-house performance and product marketing teams. Manage our owned media platforms including the corporate website.
  • Oversee all aspects of our campaign deployment: from planning and specs to management, continuous optimization and reporting. Benchmark our communications approach against best practices, identifying new opportunities to expand to new platforms and formats.
  • Project manage participation in Industry Events, Conferences and Awards, digital, physical or hybrid. Plan and deliver best brand representation in international or local events and support spokespeople and ground staff in everything Coms related.
  • Oversee Corporate Brand assets’ development, on and off-line for all intents and purposes. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and vendors.
  • Deliver high quality, diverse and multichannel content (from simple social media posts and boiler plates to corporate decks, thought leadership articles and as ever the occasional press release) in both English and Greek.
  • Imagine worthy communications campaigns intended for our multinational internal audiences spread across four continents. Devise and deliver succinct Internal Communications content. Measure effectiveness.
  • Support team in Media Relations in a fully international environment and an ever-changing media and communications landscape which we help shape as a company


Requirements

Experience & Qualifications

  • BSc or MSc in Marketing, Communications, or relevant field.
  • 3+ years of working experience in a similar role that allows for a good level of plug and play.
  • Top notch communication skills, written and oral in both English and Greek languages.
  • Proven project management skills.
  • Fluent in digital, social media and CMS tools.
