Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock quantities to prevent shortages or overstock situations, perform cyclic stock checks, and manage planned stock takes to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Stock Auditing and Quality Control: Conduct regular audits of incoming and outgoing goods, compare items received against orders, and ensure product standards are maintained.
- Order Coordination: Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and operations teams to align stock availability with purchase orders and demand forecasts, ensuring timely replenishment and order fulfillment.
- Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Investigate discrepancies, address stock inaccuracies, and implement solutions to minimize losses, obsolete stock, and write-offs.
- Collaboration and Communication: Liaise with cross-functional teams including warehouse managers, inventory clerks, supply chain professionals, and customer service to optimize stock arrangement and operational efficiency.
- Project Planning and Execution: Plan and execute stock control projects, optimize storage space, and improve inventory processes to support warehouse performance and KPIs such as stock turnover and order accuracy.
