This role is part of Landis+Gyr’s EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) business, which is expected to become an independent company under new ownership by mid-2026, subject to customary regulatory approvals. Logistics Administration Specialist
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Customer Invoice Issue.
- Prepare, process, and file shipping documents.
- Forwarders’ bids Evaluation (Inbound – Outbound).
- Maintain solid relationships with transportation Suppliers and L+G Sales Teams.
- Communicate delivery visibility to internal and external Stakeholders.
- Organize transport schedules for Air & Sea Shipments.
- Monitor Air and Sea Shipments and track orders to ensure timely delivery to customers.
- Generating regular reports on logistics progress and KPIs for management review.
Requirements
- Technical/commercial educational background.
- 2 years proven experience in Supply Chain environment.
- Solid understanding of Supply Chain processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Effective analytical skills.
- Organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong Time Management and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, adaptability, and effective communication.
- Experience with SAP and MS Office (especially Excel).
Optional Skills
- Working experience in a multinational company.
- Experience in project work.
