As we launch our Greek subsidiary, we are looking for a Licensed Customs Manager to lead our local operations, maintain compliance, and oversee our customs footprint in the Hellenic market.

Your Responsibilities

• Company Representation: Act as the officially Licensed Customs Broker (Εκτελωνιστής) representing the company before the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) and Greek Customs Authorities.
• Operational Setup: Lead the process of obtaining all necessary local customs licenses, authorizations, and guarantees (EORI, AEO, etc.) for the Greek legal entity.
• Strategic Oversight: Manage the workflow for high-volume B2C E-commerce clearances (H7) and Standard Import Declarations (H1).
• Hands-on Capability: While daily data entry is not the primary focus, you must be fully capable of executing H1, H7, and NCTS (T1/T2) declarations personally when operational needs, complex cases, or system testing require it.
• System Management: Utilize both local Greek customs software and our proprietary platform; provide expert input to ensure seamless connectivity and automated filing with the ICISnet platform.
• Compliance: Oversee Tariff Classification (HS codes), Rules of Origin, and VAT/Special Consumption Tax requirements to ensure error-free operations.
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain professional rapport with local Customs Houses (e.g., Piraeus, Eleftherios Venizelos Airport) and stakeholders.

Our Requirements

• Certification: Must hold a valid Greek Customs Broker License (Άδεια Ασκήσεως Επαγγέλματος Εκτελωνιστή) and be registered with the relevant Professional Association.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep, practical experience with ICISnet. You must be an expert in H1 (Standard Customs Clearance) and NCTS (opening/closing transits) procedures.
• E-commerce Familiarity: Proven experience with H7 (Low-Value Consignment) and IOSS is a significant advantage for our tech-driven growth.
• Communication: Professional fluency in Greek (for legal/official filings) and English (for internal reporting and global collaboration).
• Mindset: You are a "playing coach"—an expert who enjoys the high-level strategy and compliance but isn't afraid to jump into the software to resolve a technical filing issue.
