At FDL Group, the largest 3PL provider in Greece, we move businesses forward. We are currently looking for an experienced Freight Forwarder Operations professional to join our International Transport team and manage import flows to Greece.

🔍 Role Overview

As a Freight Forwarder Operations, you will be responsible for the operational execution and coordination of international import shipments. You will ensure smooth day-to-day transport operations, working closely with carriers, agents, and internal teams to deliver efficient and reliable logistics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute end-to-end international import operations to Greece.
  • Coordinate international road freight loadings and daily transport activities.
  • Communicate with carriers, agents, and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective transport execution.
  • Prepare, check, and manage all operational import documentation.
  • Track shipments proactively and handle exceptions or delays.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure operational alignment and service quality.
  • Support continuous improvement of operational processes within international transport.

What We’re Looking For

• University degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in freight forwarding operations, especially imports.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Good knowledge of customs procedures and import regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills in Greek and English.
  • Knowledge of a third foreign language will be considered an asset.
  • Familiarity with MS Office and logistics / ERP systems.
