2. Road Transport Department Officer - Import & Export Operations | LTL Services

Key Responsibilities

· Management of FTL or LTL shipments

· Communication with carriers and clients

· Coordination with customers regarding delivery and pickup scheduling

· Collection and preparation of shipment data for accurate loading planning

· Costing and invoicing of shipments

· Monitoring deliveries and pickups and providing customer updates

· Control, registration, and archiving of transport and shipping documentation (CMR, delivery notes, invoices, etc.)

· Maintenance and further development of the carrier and partner network, ensuring reliability and service quality

Requirements

· Excellent command of English

· Ability to work under time pressure and solve problems effectively

· Strong communication and negotiation skills

· Excellent PC skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, MS Teams)

· Professional appearance and behavior

· Team spirit and collaborative mindset

Additional qualifications will be considered an asset:

· Additional languages will be considered an advantage, preferably Spanish, French or Portuguese

· University degree (AEI/TEI) in Economics, Business Administration or related field (knowledge of Freight Forwarding & Logistics will be considered an asset)

· Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position

· Good knowledge of Orian ERP software
